Stop out Hope to the Holidays Toy Drive! Join us from 5:00a.m. to 6:30 p.m.! We are working at the drive thru bash at 13abc studio, 4247 Dorr St. in Toledo all day. You just drive thru, and we will unload your car for you! It is an absolutely wonderful experience! Help us make the holidays a little brighter for our local kids! 13abc, the Salvation Army and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves (Toys for Tots) are teaming up for another year to support families in our community this holiday season. 13abc partners include Vito's Pizza, Arnold's Home Improvement, Dave White Chevrolet and Acura and Jim White Toyota and Gallon, Takacs, Boissoneault & Schaffer to present Hope for the Holidays. This year's annual Hope for the Holiday toy drive kicked off on Nov. 16 and runs through Dec. 21. All collected toys will be given to local families through the Salvation Army and U.S. Marine Corps Reserves (Toys for Tots) programs. Families are selected via an application process, which has wrapped up for the 2018 holiday season. The joint effort started in 2011, bringing in more than 113,000 toys since its beginning that have been distributed locally.
